"Your Charlottesville" is a different kind of campaign. It's about not just winning in November, but about strengthening the participation of all the city's residents in the decisions that affect their lives.
And we are gearing up for victory. With your help, we can bring our message of engagement and inclusion to Charlottesville residents who feel like City Government doesn't care what they think.
We're reaching out to get people's opinions about how the city can run better, about the issues that are important to them, and about how we can make sure everyone's voice is heard - not just during the campaign, but in everything the city does.
Because without that kind of engagement, Charlottesville can't fulfill its vision of being a "Livable city for all". We must engage our residents in making sure that all our children have the community support they need to graduate from high school with an education that prepares them for a meaningful future. We must engage as many people as possible in improving our transportation system, reinvigorating our local economy, and ensuring neighborhood safety.
